James William McLane was born May 11, 1941 to Mr. James Harold McLane and Mrs. Virginia Florence (Forsythe) McLane. He passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Jim was raised in Wilson attending school there. He joined the United States Army on October 2, 1963 as a mail courier and was honorably discharged on October 1, 1965. Jim worked in the oilfield and moved to Oklahoma City as a young man. He became an orthopedic technician later in life and relocated to St. Louis , MO. working in the military hospital as a civil serviceman building braces for disabled servicemen . After his retirement he moved back to Wilson and was most recently a resident of the Ardmore Veterans Center.

Jim is preceded in death by his Parents, James and Virginia McLane and his Niece, Kathryn Lea Goodson.

He is survived by his Sister, Judy Lea Goodson of Wilson, OK.; Daughter, Adrianna; Nephew, Benton Lee Goodson and wife Beth of Wilson, OK. ; Great Nieces, Brittany and Macy; Numerous Cousins and other Family.
