Ringling – Funeral Services for Mr. James Patrick “Pat” Eubanks, 63, of Centerpoint, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Chaplain Stanley Joseph officiating.
Pat was born April 17, 1947 at Duncan, OK to the late Mr. Elton Eubanks and Mrs. Josephine Inez (Johnson) Eubanks. He departed this life Wednesday evening, Nov. 17, 2010 at his home.
Pat was raised at Centerpoint attending school at Ringling and his later years at Oklahoma City graduating from there in 1966. He and the former Connie Cay Cummins were united in marriage April 1, 1974 in Texas. They operated the family Dairy in Centerpoint for many years until its closing in 1989. Pat continued working with stocker cattle, pecans and hauling cattle. He always enjoyed spending time with his family involving them at everything he did. They chased many storms together for the Tornado Research Center of Norman and were all avid CB radio handlers. Pat was an accomplished Amateur Radio operator, communicating with friends all around the world. He was also a very talented musician, able to play most instruments especially the drums. He loved riding his Harley Davidson on many trips across the country with his friends. He was also the Pee Wee wrestling coach here in Ringling and was a past member of the First Baptist Church of Ringling.
His parents, Mr. Elton Eubanks and Mrs. Josephine Inez Eubanks preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife Connie of the home. 2 Daughters, Kimberly Bradley and husband John of Odessa, TX, and Audene Eubanks of Norman. 3 Sons, Russell Eubanks and wife Mary of Plano, TX, Elton C. “Bo” Eubanks and wife Cynthia of Norman, and Patrick Earl Eubanks and wife Rhonda of Grand Junction, CO. Sister, Sharon Merritt of Norman. Best friend and brother, Billy Self of Ringling. 6 Grandchildren, Harlie, Emily, Andrew, Grace, Lance and Cooper. Numerous other family and friends.
Honorary Bearers are Billy Self, Cody Self, Tommy Bryant, Cartez Allen, Lonnie Allen, Cameron Kilcrease, Gary Gannon, and all Fellow Motorcycle Buddies and Hand Radio Friends.
Viewing and visitation will began at 11 am Friday and last all day for those who would like to visit at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
