Funeral Services for Jacky Brister Glenn, 65, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday November 20, 2015, at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Bro. Joe Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton.
Jacky was born July 12, 1950 in Lindsay, OK to the late Mr. Jack Brister Glenn and Mrs. Elsie Anetha (Owens) Glenn. He departed this life on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 at Mercy Hospital of Ardmore.
Jacky grew up in the Wilson area and attended school at Rexroat. He married the former Deborah Carlile on April 26, 1969. He drove a backhoe and worked in the oilfield. He worked for Wajo Chemical in Duncan for the last 20+ years. He loved to work in the garage and with small engines. His favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and enjoyed hosting and entertaining his family. He loved to go fishing, spending time with his family and spending time with his grandkids who meant the world to him.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, John Glenn.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah of the home; a daughter, Kimberly Ross and fiancé, AJ Edwards of Healdton; grandchildren, Allan Ross and fiancée, Elizabeth Fleming, Bethani Ross and Samuel Edwards; brothers, Kenneth Glenn and his wife Elaine of Healdton, Ray Glenn of Wilson, Tommy Glenn and his wife Donna of Kingston, his twin brother Jimmy Glenn of Wilson and a sister, Helen Ashley and her husband, Jerry of Healdton; his mother in law, Nelda Cain and brothers and sisters in law, Aaron and Janette Carlile, Alan Dale and Tresa Carlile, Judy Vernon, Jerry and Trulee Hix, and Terry and Darla Hix and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
Casket bearers are Pete Carlile, Terry Hix, Jerry Hix, Joseph Taylor, Bobby Tolliver and Allan Ross.
Honorary bearers are Tommy Way, Deuwain Sanner, Kenneth Glenn, Ray Glenn, Tommy Glenn, Jimmy Glenn and Joe Taylor.
Family visitation will from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
