Jackie Lee “Jack” Rich was born April 28, 1934 at Ringling, OK. to Mr. Ollie Lee Rich and Mrs. Gertrude (Warden ) Rich. He passed from this life Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City Oklahoma.

Jack was raised at the Ringling / Grady area and attended school at Ringling. He joined the United States Navy on January 21, 1952 at Dallas, Texas. Jack served 3 years on the USS Orca and later reenlisted for a total service time of 20 years. He served honorably as a Machinist Mate and fought seaside during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Jack and the former Ann Mays have been together since March 20, 1976. After retiring from the Navy in 1972 , Jack began driving trucks cross country. The last five years he has been employed by Brent Wade.

Jack loved his grand kids and his canine companion Dozer.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Ollie and Gertrude Rich ; Two Brothers, Dale and Bo; Granddaughter, Paintney Woods.

Jack is survived by his wife, Ann Rich of the home; Sons, Curtis Rich and wife Rachel of Ardmore, OK. and Dennis Rich and wife Linda of Antlers, OK.; Daughters, Shelly Rich of Anaheim, CA and Chrystal James of Ardmore; Brother T.D. “Dusty” Rich and wife Ginger of Albuquerque, NM. ; 6 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren ; Numerous other Family and Friends.
