Wilson - Funeral Services for Mrs. Imogene Patrick (Taylor) Greenroyd, 70 of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson with Jim Branch officiating. Interment will follow to Bomar Point Cemetery.
Imogene was born August 15, 1948 to the late Mr. William Lonnie Taylor and Mrs. Ida Avis (Patrick) Taylor Tipps. She departed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Shawnee.
Imogene was raised primarily in Wilson attending school here as the class of 1966. At the age of 16, Imogene married Charles Wayne "Chock" Greenroyd on November 21, 1964 at Ringling. They made their home in Wilson. Imogene worked for the Honda Shop, Dr. Pepper, Pants Factory, Des' Veggies and for the Election Board. She loved flowers, like to read and watch her game shows. Imogene especially loved her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Chock on March 14, 2013; sisters, Fern Hacker and Wilma Carter; brothers, P.R. Taylor and Jerry Taylor and brother in law, Donnie McMillen.
Imogene is survived by her daughters, Gena Greenroyd and Michael Turley of Maud, OK and Melissa Greenroyd-Nipp and Lynn Bolles of Wilson; son, Chuck Greenroyd and wife Johnna of Wilson; sisters, Sharon Gray and husband Danny of Wilson and Wyvonnia Keel and husband Owen of Norman; brothers in law, Jearl Greenroyd and wife Judy of Ringling and AG Hacker of Norman; sisters in law, Lana Hill and husband Barry of Burns Flat, Sherry Hanson and husband Jerry of Ardmore, and Nancy McMillen of Wilson; grandchildren, Heather McCullough and Jason Bagby, Con Nipp, Chance and Alice Lincoln, Chase and Megan Duvall, and Mikayla Greenroyd and Caleb Vernon; great grandchildren, Alexia, Jace, Jaxon Bagby, Chase, Jasper, Memphis Lincoln, Raelyn Mitchell, Chase Vernon, Noah and Raiden Duvall; and by other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Terry Way, Tanner Hartman, Mike Skelton, Jeff Whatley, Brent Morse, and Jarred Hanson.
Honorary bearers will be Jerry Hanson, Barry Hill, Robbie Morse, Jearl Greenroyd and Grandsons.
Family visitation is scheduled for Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
