Idabell (Marshall) Camplain

Idabell (Marshall) Camplain of Wilson departed this life on March 2, 2022 at the Wilson Nursing Center at the age of 91 years, 5 months, and 17 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Terry Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Idabell was born to the late Mr. William Henry Marshall and Mrs. Eddys Cornelia Marshall on September 15, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Idabell grew up during the Depression in Southeastern Oklahoma near Daisy before moving to Wilson. Idabell married Mr. Billy Glenn Camplain on March 30, 1948. Together they had four children. Idabell was a devoted wife and loving mother. She enjoyed her family and cooking for them and would feed anyone that stopped by to visit. She cooked three meals a day and proudly took care of others. Idabell had worked at various jobs throughout her life. She worked at Pruitt Pecans, Ardmore Veterans Center, Wilson Nursing Home and as a waitress.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Glenn Camplain; brothers, Junior, Bob, and Jesse Marshall; sisters, Pearl Powell, Lucille Roberts, Louella DeShane, and two infant siblings.

Idabell is survived by her children, Linda Parke of Moore; Bill Camplain of Ringling, Brenda Parrott of Ardmore, Ricky Camplain and wife Malinda of Wilson; brother, Kenneth Marshall and wife Marilynn of Aztec, NM; sister, Gloria Marshall of Lone Grove; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Many neices, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Caelen Camplain, Gary Guthrie, Chris Sudderth, Chase Camplain, Cale Sudderth, and Deakin McKee.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nate Sudderth, Richie McKee, R.D. Powell, Carl Powell, Kris Roberts, Kerry Roberts, Gary Powell,and Jimmy Bivins
