Horace “Lyndy” Lyndon Norton, Jr.

Healdton – Horace “Lyndy” Lyndon Norton, Jr. 55 was born April 20, 1961 to Horace Lyndon Norton, Sr., and Ruby Nadine (Elliott) Norton in Ardmore, Ok. He departed from this life on June 9, 2016 in Healdton. Private family services will be scheduled at a later date. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Lyndy was raised in Healdton, graduating from Healdton High School in 1980. When he was younger, he was baptized at the Bethel Baptist Church. He worked in the oilfield with his father and most recently, worked for Dow Keith Auto Sales of Healdton. Lyndy loved to visit and talk about wonderful memories. He loved to keep his yard looking good and enjoyed fishing and was an excellent mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Lyndy is survived by his sisters Regina Briscoe and her husband Lindsey of Healdton and Ruby Rich of Ardmore, nephews Jeffrey Rich and his wife Tina and Wesley Briscoe and by his nieces Shaylyn, Isabell, Paisley and Rayleen Simpson.
