Herbert Ray Weatherford

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mr. Herbert "Herbie"Ray Weatherford, 57, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday December 14, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson. Interment will follow at the Dixie Cemetery north of Ringling.

Herbert was born on October 15, 1958 at Ringling to the late Mr. Calvin Hubert Weatherford and Mrs. Vernell (Waller) Weatherford. He departed this life on Friday evening December 11, 2015 at a senior care facility in Enid, OK.

Herbert was raised in Wilson graduating from Wilson High School in 1978. He enjoyed working with his brother Donnie on several jobs in the Oilfield. Most recently Herbert had been employed working on a farm south of Wilson. He spent many years residing at Loco. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his Parents, Calvin and Vernell Weatherford; and a brother, Hollis Dale Weatherford.

Survivors include his sister, Reta Geer and husband Carl of The Colony, TX; two brothers,Donnie Weatherford of Fredricksburg, TX and Harold Gahagan and wife Sue of Dallas, TX ; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers are family.

Family visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm Sunday afternoon at the funeral home in Wilson.
