Henry Lee Christian

Mr. Henry Lee Christian departed this life on Monday, April 26, 2021 at his residence in Healdton at the age of 69 years, 1 month, and 6 days. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00P.M. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Rev. Eugene Christian officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Henry was born on March 20, 1952 in Healdton to the late Mr. George Christian and Mrs. Dorthy (Kirbo) Christian.

Henry was raised in this area and lived in Southern Oklahoma his entire life. He attended Fox Schools and graduated with the Class of 1972. His senior year he married his high school sweetheart Ms. Shirley Newman on November 17, 1972 in Fox. Together they made their home in Healdton where they would raise their children.
Henry worked at Uniroyal/Michelin Goodrich as a tire builder for many years until his retirement. He loved to be outdoors fishing or spending time with his grandchildren. He was very active with his children coaching T - Ball for over 10 years.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy Christian; and sister, Nancy Smith.

He is survived by his wife of the home Shirley (Newman) Christian; sons, Scotty Christian and his wife Krystal of Healdton, Ricky Christian and his wife Stephanie of Healdton; grandchildren, Madison Christian and fiance Samantha Johnson of Ardmore, Braxton Christian, Taylor Christian, Blayde Christian, and Olivia Christian all of Healdton; brothers, Sammy Christian of Enid and George Christian Jr. of Duncan; sister, Shirley Dickerson and husband Billy of Velma; step sisters, Diane Tivis, and Dorthy Clea of Ratliff City; step mother, Dorthy Christian of Ratliff City; great grandchild, Avery; Many other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Andy Jones, Miles Way, Terry Shaw, Tyler Shaw, Trey Shaw, and Clyde Smoot.

Honorary casket bearers will be Travis Shaw and Colten Shaw.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
