Harry Ray Harris

Milo - Graveside Services for Mr. Harry Ray Harris, 65, of Clemscott are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Milo Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Griffin officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ratliff City.




Mr. Harry Ray Harris was born in Weatherford, OK to the late Mr. Virgil Clarence Harris and Mrs. Mary M. (Lowery) Harris. He departed from this life on February 20, 2017 in Plano, TX.




Harry was raised in Weatherford. He joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany. Harry served as a telecommunication wireman and mechanics. He was honorably discharged and thereafter married the former Sharon Butler on July 4, 1975 in Weatherford, OK. They made their home in Clemscott in 1977 when Harry worked for Deans Well Service. Later he took employment with Southwest Paraffin. Harry loved to cook out, work with wood, go fishing and being with his kids and family. He was a member of the Graham Baptist Church, of the VFW and ODD Fellows.




Preceded him in death are his parents; 8 brothers and 2 sisters.




Harry is survived by his wife Sharon of the home; daughters, Angela Denison and husband Tommy of Houston and Janet Harris of Graham; son, LeRoy Harris and wife Charity of Cleburne, TX; grandchildren, Kalie and Aaron Schneider, Kaneisha Teel, Korton Teel, Karra and Nathan Aikens, Jesse and Brittnee Harris, Jesca Harris, Jamarcus, Jordon and Jackson Harris; great grandchildren, Raelyn and Kinzi Harris, Reiliegh Schneider, and many adopted; brother, Eugene Harris and wife Rucinda of Weatherford; and sister, Sandra Troxell and husband Dan of Weatherford; numerous other family and friends.




Honorary bearers will be Rudy Stewart, Don Mashore, Doug Hickman, John Wallis, Lynn Watkins, David Watkins, Junior Murray and Paul Underwood.






A family visitation is scheduled for 6-8 P.M. Friday evening at Alexander Funeral Home in Ratliff City.
