Harold was born May 19, 1943 in Ringling, OK to the late Mr. Weldon (Digger) Morris Allen and Mrs. Mildred (Meadows) Allen. He departed from this life on Friday, February 12, 2021 in Ringling.

Harold was raised at Mountain Home and Fox, attending both schools. He graduated from Fox High School in 1961. He married the love of his life, the former Doris Anne Jones on July 3, 1964, in Ratliff City, OK. Harold worked in road construction moving around from Greenville, Ardmore, Lawton, El Reno and Ratliff City, but he and Doris eventually made their family home in Ringling, OK. He enjoyed an early retirement from Shell Oil Company. He was an avid member of the Ringling Methodist Church and was very involved in the Ringling community. He loved volunteering his time cooking his famous peach cobbler and smoked brisket for any occasion. Harold enjoyed fishing, bailing hay, farming, gardening, and going to the beach, but most of all enjoyed his family. His favorite times were the holidays and get togethers with his family—almost always insisting on cooking the entire meals himself, especially the fish fries.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Quincy, Morris, and Jerry Allen and his daughter, Debbie Jo Allen.

Harold is survived by his loving wife, Doris of the home; daughter and son in law, Gina and Danny Veal of Ringling; son and son in law, Andrew Allen and Kenny Soliz of Austin, TX and son and daughter in law, Rusty and Autumn Allen of Ringling; sister and brother in law, Molly and Larry Chesshir; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews and by a host of other family and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Allen, Braxton Evans, Danny Veal, Brody Haddock, Nic Bearden, and Greg Allen. Honorary bearers will be Curt Wilson, Bob Earl Stewart and Stanley Watkins.
