Funeral Services for Mrs. Goldie L. Broadbent, 72 ,Of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Jimmy May officiating. Interment will be at Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Goldie was born July 25, 1941 at Wilson, OK. to Mr. Clifford Henry “Boe” McMillen and Mrs. Hazel Elizabeth (Glenn) McMillen. She passed from this life July 28, 2013 at Healdton, OK.

Goldie was raised in Wilson attending school there. She married Mr. Wayne Broadbent on December 26, 1970 in Sayre, OK. They resided in Amarillo, TX. for many years where she helped Wayne at his Automotive Machine Shop.They retired in 2000 and moved to Healdton , OK. to enjoy their retirement. Goldie was a very caring woman and devoted homemaker.She touched many lives with her kindness. Goldie loved her family deeply and gathered them to her as often as she could. She was a fun person to spend time with and she had a great sense of humor. Goldie kept a perfect home which she had decorated beautifully. She took much pride and joy in her home and flowers.

She is preceded in death by her Parents; Sister, Paula Howell; Son, Robert Blackman; Granddaughter , Amy Lynn .

Survivors include her. Husband, Wayne Broadbent of the home; Son, Daryl Blackman of Healdton; Daughters, Tina Cartwright and husband David of Wilson,OK., Gaye Wilson and husband Randy of Amarillo, TX. ;Grandchildren, Christy, Tracy, Matt, Ashley and Alex; Great Grandchildren, Evan, Ellie and Ashlyn.;Numerous other family and friends.
