Glen Paul O'Daniel

Wilson – Funeral Services for Mr. Glen Paul O’Daniel, 82, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday September 25, 2012 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Monte Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mr. Glen Paul O’Daniel was born August 22, 1930 at Wirt, OK to the late Mr. Curtis Oliver O’Daniel and Mrs. Eunice B. (Wallace) O’Daniel. He departed this life Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Wilson Nursing Center.

Glen Paul served in the Air Guard and then became an Oilfield employee for Hamp Baker. He and the former Ms. Ruby Cleo Pierce were united in marriage on December 11, 1964 at Gainesville, TX. They made their home in Wilson and spent the rest of their lives there together. He loved fishing and enjoyed collecting miniature cars of all kinds. He delivered the Ardmoreite for many years and had also worked for Thompsons Theatre. He was a great devoted husband, Father and grandfather. Ruby preceded him in death on September 11, 2001.

Also preceding him in death are his Parents; Sons, Paul Dennis O’Daniel Nov. 11, 1965 and Vester Paul O’Daniel June 16, 2008; Brother, Emery Victor O’Daniel, Sr. and daughter in law Jodie O’daniel.

Survivors include his Daughter, Edna Ocampo and husband Mike of Wilson; Son, Cecil O’Daniel of Wilson; Brother, Carl O’Daniel of Lawton; 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Albert O’Daniel, Albert Morris, Mike Ocampo, Dylan Harvey, Terry Fuqua and Elvis Dyer.
