Germaine Elizabeth Mcelhiney

April 7, 1937 — June 23, 2024

Healdton - Mrs. Germaine Elizabeth (Kuntz) McElhiney, 87 of Healdton was born April 7, 1937 in Yakima, WA to the late Mr. Joseph Kuntz and Mrs. Elizabeth Germaine (Aqurette) Kuntz.  She departed from this life on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at her home in Healdton.  Cremation Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton. 


Germaine was born on an Indian Reservation in Washington being raised and attending school in San Fransico, California.  She married the late Mr. Everett Ashley McElhiney on March 10, 1955 in Reno, NV moving around from Tennessee, Washington, California, and Texas.  Together when they retired, they moved to Oklahoma.  Germaine enjoyed her animals, watching television especially soap operas, in particular, Young in the Restless and she also enjoyed crocheting. 


Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Everett on June 8, 2020; son, John; sisters, Clara and Jane; and a brother, Joe. 


Germaine is survived by her daughter, Debbie Wiles and husband Charles; sons, Mark McElhiney and wife Tiffany and William Raines; bonus son, Clayton Moore and wife Amanda; grandchildren, Sam Sears, Tiffany Metzger, Angela Raison, Jennifer McElhiney, John Sears, Jr, Andy McElhiney, David McElhiney, and Tanner McElhiney; great grandchildren, Leilynn Sears, Brentley Miller, John D. Sears, III, Aiden Sears, Braxton McElhiney, Marleigh Sears, and Skylynn Moore; sisters, Jeanette Montarano and husband Larry, and Joann Christianson and husband Christopher; and by a host of other family and friends.
