Georgie Lee Whatley-Spradlin

Healdton – Funeral Services for Mrs. Georgie Lee (Totty) Whatley-Spradlin, 77 of Lone Grove are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 27, 2017 at Christ Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Healdton with Pastor Dustin Gardner officiating. Interment will follow to Lone Grove Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Mrs. Georgie Lee (Totty) Whatley-Spradlin was born November 28, 1939 to the late Mr. Floyd LeRoy Totty and Mrs. Ruthie Marie (Harris) Totty in Wynnewood, Ok. She departed from this life on March 22, 2017 in Ardmore.

Georgie was raised mainly in Leon attending school there. She married Hubert Leo Whatley on June 3, 1957 at Marietta. They moved to Napa Valley, CA and then Lone Grove for 45 years. Georgie worked outside the home as a nurse for many years. Hubert preceded her in death on October 20, 2003 and then later in the years; she married Joe Spradlin July 15, 2006. He too preceded her in death. Georgie loved to read, gardening and tend to her roses. She is a member of Christ Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Preceding her in death are her parents; infant son, Ronald David Whatley; sister, Viola Fletcher; brother, Kenny Totty and great grandson, Jeffery Denham.

Georgie is survived by her daughters, Sandra Dyer and husband Kenneth of Lone Grove and Debrah Butler and husband Butch of Lone Grove; son, Bob and Jessica Whatley of Ardmore; stepchildren, Denise, Erin, and Joe Jr.; sister, Alice Hood and husband Mike of Dickson; brothers, Floyd Totty of Lone Grove, Don Totty of Napa Valley, CA, Albert Totty and wife Lisa of Fort Mojave, CA and Richard Totty of Suisun City, CA; children who were like her own, Darinda Caudle and husband Gus of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Emily Johnson and husband Shannon of the home, Kenny Dyer and wife Mary of Ardmore, Patsy Barrett of Anadarko, Billy Dyer of Anadarko, Destiny Dyer of Ft. Smith, AR,, Melanie Matthews of Houston, David Denham and wife Alicia of Ardmore, Shelly Lee and husband Jeff of Lone Grove, Aaron Whatley and wife Jennifer of Davis, Cody Whatley and wife Falicia of Ardmore, Brooke and Ashley Whatley and their mother Michelle of Healdton, Daman, Henry and Nataley, Billy Mosier of Lone Grove, Dustin Mosier and wife Heather of Lone Grove, Eric Mosier and wife Melissa of Ada, Amanda Caudle of Lone Grove and Gerald Caudle of Houston; 38 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren and caretaker and provider, Donna Murray.

Casket bearers will be Kenny Dyer, David Denham, Weston Denham, Billy Mosier, Dustin Mosier, Eric Mosier, Shannon Johnson, Aaron Whatley, Cody Whatley and Shane Williams.

Honorary bearers will be grandsons and nephews.
