George Leonard Cole

Burneyville - Graveside Services for Mr. George Leonard “Lenny” Cole, Jr. , 77 of Burneyville are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.

Lenny was born September 23, 1944 at Mountain Home, OK to the late Mr. George Leonard Cole, Sr. and Mrs. Goldie Mae Williamson (Cole). He departed from this life Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Ardmore.

Lenny was raised in Ringling graduating from high school there in 1962. He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served many years. Lenny worked in a warehouse at the Tinker Air Force Base and later attended Barber School. He eventually went to work in the construction field and continued in that industry for nearly 40 years. Lenny married the former Ms. Kay Isbel on March 12, 1969 at Gainesville, TX and to this union the couple was blessed with two children, Becky and Michael. He loved spending time with his canine companion, Dixie.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, James Douglas Cole.

George is survived by his daughter, Becky O’Daniel and husband David of Rubottom; Son, Michael Cole of Shady Dale; sisters, Karen Reed and Peggy Langley and husband Glen all of Ringling; 2 grandsons, Joseph and Joshua O’Daniel; Numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
