Wilson – Funeral Services for Ms. Gennie “Kay” Caldwell, 64 of Dallas are scheduled for 4:30 PM Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson with Rev. Johnny Reed officiating.
Ms. Gennie “Kay” Caldwell was born August 14, 1952 in Wilson, OK to the late Mr. John Laquergus Caldwell and Mrs. Annie Mae (Copeland) Caldwell. She departed from this life on March 5, 2017 in Dallas, TX.
Kay was raised in Wilson graduating in 1970. She married Elvin Chapman and they were blessed with 3 children, twin girls Trina and Tina and a son Mikey Paul. Kay worked in numerous of tow booths and drove a truck, which she was proud of. She loved to color, write letters to God and animals. Kay was a lady who was always dressed to the "T" wherever she went.
Preceding her in death are her parents; son, Michael Paul Chapman; siblings, Patsy Katherine Caldwell, Donnie Wayne Caldwell, Connie Lou Caldwell and Donnie Wynn Caldwell.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Tina Chapman of Wilson and Trina Reed and husband Mathew of Thackerville; sisters, Wanda Sue Caldwell of Shawnee and Sherl Ann Casey and husband David of New Mexico; grandchildren, Dalton Whatley and wife Darby, Dakota Whatley, Autumn Whatley, Tanner Summy and Emily Cummings; great grandchildren, Mia Whatley, Andrew Whatley and Layla Gray; and by her best friend Bonnie Reese of Dallas.
Honorary bearers will be all her grandchildren.
A family visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 6-7 PM at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
