Gary Don Rich

Gary Don Rich passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at his residence in Graham. He was born to Obed Fuller “Tobe” Rich and Lois Velma Richardson Rich on Sept. 22, 1945 in Grady, Oklahoma.

Gary married Sherry Tiner on October 1, 1999 and they resided in Graham, OK for many years. He graduated from Ryan High School with the class of 1963. Gary worked for Henderson Supply and retired in 2010. He enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, fishing, shooting skeet, team roping and cooking. He loved his hot rod cars and was a member of the Enjuns Car Club. He was an avid volunteer and supporter for multiple organizations and events within the community especially Healdton Public School Athletics and the Milo Baptist Church. Gary enjoyed anything that involved his family and watching his grandchildren in various activities.

Gary is preceded in death by is his parents; brothers, Leo and Dennis Rich; and a nephew Dennis Ray Rich.

He is survived by his wife Sherry Rich of the home; daughters, Jackie Demps and husband Cory of San Antonio, TX, Lisa Stewart and husband Mike of Healdton; son, J.C. Choate and wife Kelly of Healdton; brother, Larry Rich of Olney, TX; mother of his daughters, Connie Rich of Healdton; mother in law, Mary Tiner of Wilson; brothers in law, Terry Tiner and wife Rose of Zanies, and Robert Tiner and wife Jo of Lake Kiowa, TX; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family

and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Andrew Demps, Tate Demps, Toby Nichols, Lane Stewart, Colby Smith, Kyle Hayes, Josh Adams, Chris Choate, and Matt Choate; honorary pallbearers will be Dana Gossvener, Otis Blakemore, Mike Jones, Terry Tiner, Robert Tiner, Craig Perkins, Mitch Mitchell, and Tim Sanders.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Milo Baptist Church in Milo with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Ringling Memorial Cemetery, Ringling, OK. Visitation will be held from 5-7P.M. Friday Sept 22, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson, OK.
