Garvin Dale Milliken

Cheek – Memorial services for Garvin Dale Milliken, 54, of Burneyville, will be scheduled at a later date. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling.

Mr. Garvin Dale Milliken was born March 17, 1962 at Fort Worth, TX to the late Mr. Tommy Milliken and Mrs. Meril Dean (McCartney) Milliken. He departed this life Monday, June 20, 2016 at his home in Leon, Ok.

Garvin was raised primarily at Cheek attending school at Turner. Garvin has worked for many establishments such as, W & W Trailer Manufacturing at Madill, Pants Factory at Marietta, and he also worked in the oilfield. Garvin sometimes helped Johnny Hartman with his water well service. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed getting the chance to just sit and visit with people.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Tommy Milliken and Meril Heidrich.

Survivors include his sister, Donna “Sissy” Flatt and husband Danny of Burneyville; brother, Neil Milliken of Wilson; father, Donnie Heidrich of Lone Grove; aunt, Christine Bank of Overbrook; nephews, Josh, Michael and wife Terri, and Blake and wife Kali; nieces, Danielle and Lacy; great niece and nephew, Shelby and Michael; numerous other aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
