Frieda Katherine "Kathy" Bryant

Funeral Services for Mrs. Frieda Katherine “Kathy” Bryant, 82 ,Of Ardmore are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will be at Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Kathy was born January 30, 1931 at Seagraves, TX. to Mr. .William Louie Minderman and Mrs. Alvina Johanna (Moeller) Minderman. She passed from this life July 21, 2013 at Ardmore, OK.

Kathy was raised at Electra, Tx. attending school there. Kathy married W.A. “Bill” Bryant on June 7, 1952 in Henryetta, Tx. and they made their home in Electra ,Tx. They moved to the Ardmore area in the mid 60’s and made their home in Springer,OK.

Kathy enjoyed her job working at Stromberg-Carlson for 15 years and later for JC Penny’s where she retired from in 1993. . She always enjoyed being with her family fishing and was a devoted homemaker.

Kathy is preceded in death by her Parents, William Minderman and Alvina Minderman; Husband, W.A. “Bill” Bryant on June 18, 2002; Sister, Anna Louise Bates; Brother, Walter Minderman.

Survivors include her Daughter Beverly Ellyson of Ardmore, OK .; Brother, Eugene Minderman and wife Patsy of Cookietown, OK.; Sister in law, Annettte Minderman of Iowa Park, Tx.; Two Grandsons, John Pletcher and wife Tabby of Ardmore, Ok., Larry Ellyson and wife Rachel of Ardmore,Ok.;One Granddaughter, Cyndi Faulkenberry and husband Dale of Marietta, Ok.;Three Great Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild on the way; Numerous other family and friends.

.Pallbearers are Daniel Perry, James Bullard, Joe Denney, Bill Payne and Carlos Ramon.

Visitation will be prior to the service at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson, OK.
