Freida Marie Tilley

Wilson – Memorial service for Freida Marie (Gregg) Tilley, 61, is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at first Baptist Church in Ringling with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Freida was born February 7, 1959 in Ardmore to Mr. Roy Gregg and Mrs. Lou (Miller) Gregg. She departed from this life on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in Healdton.

Frieda grew up in Ardmore attending school there, graduating high school in 1977. Freida married Mr. Ronald Tilley on September 1, 1981. She always took care of everyone around her and had a heart of gold. Freida loved to cook and worked in the Lone Grove Public School cafeteria for several years. She enjoyed crafts and family especially the children. Her granddaughter was the light of her life. She loved spending time playing with her and spoiling her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ringling.

Freida was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Edward Tilley; and a brother, Donny Gregg.

She is survived by her daughter, Nakisha Tilley and husband Gary Adkins of Wilson; 2 sisters, Vickie Wood and husband Hershel of Pauls Valley and Donna Shelton and husband Allen of Gainesville, TX; brother, Rodney Gregg and wife Lisa of Wilson; granddaughter, Payton Adkins of Wilson; many nephews, nieces, other relatives and a host of friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her granddaughter, Payton Adkins; all her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
