Ratliff City – Funeral Services for Mr. Freddy Rodriguez, 46 of Fox , is scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday December 23, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City with Ben Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow at Ratliff City Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.


Freddy was born December 31, 1964 at O’Donnell, TX to Mr. Lucio O. Rodriguez and Mrs. Emma (Cantu) Rodriguez. He departed this life at his home near Fox on Tuesday morning , December 20, 2011.


Freddy as a child lived primarily in O’Donnell, TX moving to Fox in the early 80’s. He began employment as a young adult helping provide for his family working with his father at a local cotton gin and later the Oilfield. He was always a person who gave himself to others. He currently was employed at Texoma Pumping Unit Service of Ratliff City.


Freddy enjoyed fishing for catfish at the Waurika Lake and attending swap meets and flea markets. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and often enjoyed the frequent trips with his Mother to Wal- Mart and their restaurant dinners afterwards.


Survivors include his Parents, Lucio and Emma Rodriguez of the Home; Sisters, Mary Casarez and husband Fred of Winnsboro, TX, Catarina Rodriguez of Ada, Elly Hendrix and husband Keith of Stigler, Mela Cullins of Wilson, Carol Teel and husband Mark of Wilson, Lucy Smith and husband Tommy of Ardmore, and Anna Canfield and husband Dennis of Duncan; Brothers, Sammy Santos and wife Joanna, Tino Salinas, both of O’Donnell, TX, Johnny Rodriguez and wife Cyndi of San Antonio, TX, Jamie Rodriguez and wife Amy of Sands Springs, Israel Rodriguez and wife Jamie of Bixbie , and Michale Rodriguez of Lone Grove. Numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.


Pallbearers are Todd Shelton, Scott Stoker, Jack Howard, Terry Griffin, Joey Sotelo, and Julio Sotelo.


Honorary Bearers are Rudy Stewart, Joshua Hendrix, Aaron Teel, and Fred Casarez.
