Freddie Ray Roberts

Ardmore - Graveside Services for Mr. Freddie Ray Roberts, 62 of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Jack Eldred officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Freddie was born July 14, 1958 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Maxie Woodrow Roberts and Mrs. Edith Wanita (Gothard) Roberts. He departed from this life on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Ardmore.

Freddie was raised in Ardmore attending school at Springdale and Dickson. He owned and operated his own mechanic shop before working for Ricky Carroll as a diesel mechanic for about 10 years. Freddie also drove a truck for some time. He enjoyed his grandchildren, lottery tickets and scratch offs. Freddie had a nickname for everyone and was a kind of man that would give his shirt off his back if you needed it. One thing you would see of Freddie is always having candy in his pocket.

Preceding him in death is his father, Maxie; and a great granddaughter, Daisy.

Freddie is survived by his sons, Shaine Roberts and wife Desirea of Choctaw and Michael Roberts and wife Summer of New Castle; daughter, Anglea Roberts of Oklahoma City; mother, Edith Roberts of Lone Grove; sisters, Maxine "Jaxie" Tremble of Lone Grove, Galene Southerland and husband Ron of Ardmore and Renae Galispie and husband David of Ardmore; brothers, Ronald Roberts and wife Freida of Lone Grove and Jody Roberts and wife Sandee of Ardmore; 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Calieb and wife Anna, Krystal, Cindy, Colton, Alissa, Shaine, Jerica, Brian, Caden, Addyson, Braxton, and Clayton; 9 great grandchildren, Nova, Tyson, Violet, Rose, Anabel, Carlos, Issac, Prince, Jayden and one on the way; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Simmons, Calieb Roberts, Shaine Thompson, Brian Roberts, Colton Powell and Caden Powell.
