Fred Dennis "Denny" Robertson

Marietta – Graveside services for Mr. Fred “Denny” Robertson, 80, of Lubbock, Texas, will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM. The services will be conducted under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mr. Robertson was born on December 27, 1944, in Marietta, to the late Mr. Fred Robertson and Mrs. Miriam (Mobley) Robertson. He peacefully departed from this life on October 14, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas.

Denny spent his formative years in Marietta, where he attended school and eventually built his life. After a long career as a truck driver for Dolese Trinity Industries that spanned over 30 years, he retired and moved to Lubbock to be closer to his grandchildren. Denny cherished the moments spent fishing, camping, and making memories with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Archie Robertson. 

Denny is survived by his son, Denny Keith “DK” Robertson, and his wife Tiffanie of Lubbock; his sisters, Sylvia Varner of Walters and Becky Kitrell of Oklahoma City; his beloved grandsons, Connor and Case of Lubbock; along with numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Fountain Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care, located at 106 Park Rd., Wolfforth, TX 79382.
