Frances Louise Weldon

Alma - Funeral Services for Mr. Frances Louise (Thacker) Weldon, 79, formerly of Ratliff City are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wed. Dec. 28, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City with Rev. Roger Sims officiating. Interment will follow at the Alma Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home Ratliff City.

Louise was born on September 10, 1937 at Alma to the late Mr. Roy Larson "Chock" Thacker and Mrs. Edith (Morgan) Thacker. She departed this life on Wed. Dec. 21, 2016 at Granbury, TX.

Louise was raised in the community of Alma attending school at Velma-Alma where she graduated high school in 1955. During the start of her senior year she married Mr. Ronald Lewis "Ron" Weldon on September 17, 1955 at Gainesville, TX. They lived the majority of their married life's together residing at Ft. Worth, Louise always worked within her own household where she loved doing crafts. She also enjoyed finding bargains and loved to travel. She and Ron moved back to the Ratliff City area in 1998. He preceded her in death on October 5, 2001. Also preceding her in death was her grandson - Cody Weldon; her parents; sister, Linda Kay Medford, and Lynn Condit.

Survivors include her children, Randy Weldon and wife Sharon of Newark, TX; Ronda Campbell and spouse John Fitzgerald of Granbury, TX and Felicia Medford and husband Kevin of Spring Branch, TX; sister, Donna Sue Burton and husband Connie of Countyline, Bina Gayle Ivy of Velma, Donna Burton of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Jason, Chase, Elise, Lindsey and Holly; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Jason Weldon, Chase Medford, John Fitzgerald, Bobby Bell, Rusty Burton, Travis Burton and Zane Ivy.

Family visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday evening, Dec. 27, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
