Frances Fay Womack

Memorial Services for Mrs. Frances “Frankie” Fay Womack, 77 of Ardmore are scheduled for 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel with Nick Morris officiating.


Frankie was born January 18, 1939 to the Mr. Albert “Ab” Lee Womack and Mrs. Marie Arlene (Martin) Womack in Texarkana, AR. She departed from this life on July 23, 2016 in Ardmore, OK.


Frankie was raised in Modesto, CA working 3 to 4 jobs supporting her family of 4. One of her longest employments was a fire department clerk for Stanislaus County Fire Department for about 12 years. She moved to Oklahoma in 2002 residing in Lone Grove, working with her daughter at Calltact Marketing in Lone Grove as the official “Nanny”. Frankie’s hobbies were riding horses, dancing, reading and crossword puzzles.


She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Les Womack, Sr.; sister, Arline Stewart; son, Ricky Fear; niece Christin Shannon; nephews, Thomas Coble, Jr. and Michael Lyons and best friends of 60 plus years Annetta Albritton.


Frankie is survived by her daughter, Tamei Thompson and husband Cliff; sons George Denham, Jr. and Billy Sexton; sisters, Carol Thornton and husband Bill, Patsy Gavett and husband Dave and Dee Womack; brothers, David Womack and Albert Womack and wife Melanie; daughter in law, Gail Posten; grandchildren, Carie Lyons, Joshua Walker and wife Jana, Jordan Henderson and husband Zach, Billy Sexton, Robert Thompson and Robert Harris; great grandchildren, Riki Lyons, Myki Lyons, Jaylen Walker, Jazzlyn Walker, Elijah Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson and Dotti Thompson; great great grandchildren, Landan and Luke.


Casket Bearers are Brandon Deck, Joshua Walker, Tony Miller, Robert Thompson, Michael Thompson, and Cliff Thompson.


Honorary bearers will be Billy Sexton, Michael Fear, Less Womack, Jr., Jerry Womack, Larry Womack, Davey Womack, Rudy Chavez, Jason Thornton, Steve Walker, Steve Welch, Keevin Fancher and Jayce Smith.
