Wilson- Funeral Services for Mrs. Faye Idleman, 66, are scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Wilson, OK with Rev. Bruce Almy officiating. Interment will follow at Bomar Point Cemetery. Alexander Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Faye Idleman was born February 24, 1943 in Spring, Texas to Rhuben Wesley Gafford and Lillie B. (Copeland) Gafford. She went to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Healdton, Ok.

Faye was born in Texas and moved to Wilson at a young age, after 3 years she moved back to South Houston with her Family, where she attended and graduated from South Houston High School in 1961. She moved back to Wilson where she met and married David Idleman on January 11, 1970 in Gainesville, Texas. Faye worked as a waitress throughout most of her working life at many of the restaurants in the Wilson area, her last was at Neil and Brenda’s restaurant in Wilson.

Faye was preceded by her father, Rhuben Gafford, 1976 and a brother, Bobby Gafford, 2008.

Survivors include husband, David Idleman of the home in Wilson, mother, Lillie Gafford of Wilson, sons, Mark Idleman and wife Brenda of Wilson, Joe Hampton and Jimmy Hampton both of Florida, Step-daughter Nicole Idleman of the home in Wilson, and a sister Linda Young and husband Gary of Ardmore and 8 grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Justyn Idleman, Mark Idleman, Gary Young, Sean Davis, Billy Covington and Jerry Covington.
