Ringling - Services for Mr. Farlin Thomason, 62, of Ringling are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday April 5, 2016 at the Asphaltum Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jerry Gunsolus officiating. Interment will follow at the Petersburg Cemetery south of Ringling. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Farlin was born September 19, 1953 at Murray City, TN to the late Mr. L. B. Thomason and Mrs. Elsie Carol (Taylor) Thomason. He departed this life Friday April 1, 2016 at Oklahoma City.

Farlin was raised as a part of a working migrant family moving frequently following work. They moved to this area in 1964. He was employed in construction most of his adult life and also worked some at Stromberg Carlson's in Gene Autry.

Farlin worked with his family doing construction jobs. He loved his family and enjoyed the many fishing trips with his brothers. He also was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He married the former Donna Stevens on Sept. 4, 2010 at Ringling. They resided happily together in Ringling attending the Asphaltum Assembly of God Church.

Preceding him in death were his father, L.B. Thomason; mother, Elsie Thomason Johnson; step father, Gene Johnson; brothers, Donnie Thomason, James Johnson, and Ricky Thomason and sister, Sharon Grimes.

Survivors include his wife Donna of the home; sons, Farlin Dwayne Thomason and spouse Chinatta Borkins of Lone Grove, Kelly Ray Thomason of Ponca City, Jeff Thomason and wife Stephanie of Ada and Steven Thomason of Wilson; Siblings, Ronnie Thomason and wife Brenda of Gainesville, TX, Gerald Johnson and wife Una of Elmore City, Debrah Bowers and husband Tommy, Patsy Land and husband Jeff, Tonie Tanner and Willie Thomason and wife Carol, all of Ripley, TN; 4 grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Daniel Taylor, Jesse Taylor, Travis Thomason, Brian Johnson, Bradley Webb, Willie Thomason and Aaron Webb.

Honorary Bearers are all of the Zaneis School Faculty and Staff.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
