Evelyn H. Morse

Graham - Home Going services for Mrs. Evelyn H. (McCowan) Morse, 91, of Fox are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday May 17, 2022, at the Graham Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at the Ravia Cemetery in Ravia. Services are trusted to Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Evelyn was born April 12, 1931 at Healdton to the late Mr. Hampton McCowan and Mrs. Winnie Ruth (Haws) Cunningham. She went to her heavenly home on Friday morning, May 13, 2022 at a health facility in Duncan.

Evelyn was raised at Fox where she attended school. She married Mr. C.A. "Doad" Morse on Dec. 3, 1948 at Healdton. They remained in the Fox area all of their lives together, raising their children. Evelyn was a devout homemaker to her family. She and Doad took frequent fishing trips, as well as camping all over, always enjoying the outdoors. Evelyn was also a very active member of the Graham Assembly of God Church, where she had also been a Sunday School Teacher. She and Doad enjoyed the company of all their family and friends, especially their longtime friends, Clifford and Jo Mackey.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Doad Morse; son, Danny Morse and her siblings, Joe Ed, Doug, Mildred and JoAnn.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon "Sherry" Watkins and husband Richard of Elk City; son, David Morse and wife Myrtle of Waurika; daughter in law, Tommie Morse of Beaver; Sister, Pearlie Buss of Hobbs, NM; Sister in Law, Carla Cunningham of Kingston; grandchildren, Jason Morse, Danny Morse and wife Susan , Keith Morse and wife Tana, Cody Morse, Angela Brooks and husband Greg, Amber Millikan and husband Lance and Brad Watkins and wife Amy; 16 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Jason Morse, Danny Morse, Keith Morse, Brad Watkins, Noah Morse and Greg Brooks.

Honorary bearers will be Angela Brooks and Amber Millikan.

Family visitation will be held from 6pm to 8 pm Monday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton .
