Eva Pertresa Wright

Healdton - Visitation for Mrs. Eva Pertresa (Pierce) Wright, 75 of Healdton are scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Graham Cemetery.  

Eva was born in Jal, NM to the late Mr. Raymond Edward Pierce and Mrs. Eva Bernice (Mosley) Hall.  She departed from this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in Ardmore, OK.  Eva was raised all over but mostly in the Wilson/Healdton areas.  She married the late Mr. Simon Vivan Wright on November 19, 1963 and together they were blessed with 3 daughters, Leona, Pertresa, and Lisa.  Later she married Mr. L.H. Pierce on October 12, 1984 and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1998.  Then she remarried Simon on August 18, 2007 and he had also preceded her in death on May 14, 2021.  Eva worked for Walmart for over 15 years where she retired.  She enjoyed crafts, fishing, camping, outdoors, woodworking and crocheting. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, L.H. Pierce and Simon Wright; infant brother and sister, Charles Ezra Pierce and Wanda Zoe Pierce; sister, Karen Gail Pierce; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. 

Eva is survived by her daughters, Leona Wright, Pertresa Thompson and husband Steven, and Lisa Venegaz and husband Stephen; bonus daughters, Sherry Lynn Rutledge and husband Gene, and Sonya Kay Godwin; brothers, Jerry Dale Pierce and wife Denna and Wayland Edward Pierce and wife Laverne; grandchildren, Lee Bohling, Joe Darrion Hood, Mark Anthony Carndenas III, Mikayla Brianne Bohling, and Tony Roger Thomas; 3 great grandchildren; 11 bonus grandchildren, companion, Jimmy Dobbs; and by a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Tony Lynn Wright, Simon Wright, Jr., Shane Martin, and Rusty Pierce.
