Wilson-Funeral Services for Eva Faye (Glenn) Thompson, 80, of Wilson, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Jason Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mrs. Eva Faye (Glenn) Thompson was born December 19, 1933 to Mr. Milton Glenn and Laura

(Patrick) Glenn at Paris , Texas. She passed from this life Saturday, September 27,2014 at her home in Wilson, OK.

Faye was raised at Courtney graduating there as Valedictorian. She married Mr. R.K. Thompson on February 25, 1953. R.K. worked on a Oil Rig and they followed the Rig from town to town. In the early 1960’s they moved to this area residing in Wilson. They farmed and ranched and owned Thompson Hardware Store and later the Wilson Package Store. Faye and R.K. traveled extensively with their camper and loved attending Hardware Conventions. R.K. preceded Faye in death on March 10, 1988. Faye liked to crochet, playing bingo and being with her grandchildren. She was a member at the First Baptist Church of Wilson.

In addition to her husband R.K. , Faye is preceded in death by her Parents, Melton and Laura Glenn; Infant still born son in 1955; Sisters, Myrtle, Viola, Francis, Vida and Doris; Brother, Martin.

She is survived by her Daughter Dena Thompson of Wilson; Sons, Ronny Thompson of Bellevue, WA and Philip Thompson of Wilson; Special brother in law, Dearl Taylor of Wilson; Granddaughter, Mindy McDaniel and husband Danny of Lone Grove; Two Great Grandchildren , Makaylah and Miranda McDaniel; Numerous other Family and Friends.

Pallbearers are Bruce Williams, David Thompson, Eric Gaines, Kenneth Keith, Wayne Strader and Trent Taylor.

Honorary Bearers are her Nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Wednesday, 2014 at the Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
