Healdton - Graveside Services for Mr. Emory Edward "Eddie" Wiley, Jr., 69 formerly of Davis are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday July 6, 2015 at the Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton with Rev. Monk Firestone officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.
Eddie was born January 16, 1946 at Duncan to the late Mr. Emory Edward "Ed" Wiley, Sr. and Mrs. Fairy Elizabeth (Birdwell) Wiley. He departed this life Thursday morning July 2, 2015 at Marlow.
Eddie was raised at Pruitt City attending school at Fox. He graduated from Fox High School in 1964. He then attended college at OU and later at Cameron University studying Petroleum Engineering.
Eddie worked for Phillips Petroleum as a field supervisor for several years. Later he opened and operated "Countryside Feed" in Velma before working as a Trucker hauling crude oil for American Petroleum.
Eddie enjoyed playing golf, watching OU and the Rangers and loved dancing. He was a past member of the Ratliff City Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his Parents and a brother Melvin Delane "Butch" Wiley.
Survivors include his daughter Amber Poindexter; Grandson, Dathon Poindexter; Granddaughters, Cheyanna and Lacie Poindexter, all of Velma; Brother Gary Wiley and wife Dee of Norman; Aunt Melrena Phillips of Sapulpa; numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary Bearers are Dathon Poindexter, Lyn Aldridge, Tim Scott, Jr. Bryant and Rick Mullins.
Family visitation will be held from 6pm to 7 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
