Ella Mae Miller

Wilson - On Monday, March 4, 2024 at 1:28 PM, Ella Mae Miller made her final journey into the arms of Jesus.  She was born November 13, 1939 in Bromide, OK to James Richard Harris and Flossie Priscilla Lee.  Ella was a middle child with older brother Bob and younger brother Buddy.  She enjoyed going fishing in Delaware Creek with her dad and riding their jersey cow Bessie.  Ella played the accordion and piano and also loved to sing.  In high school, she was on the basketball team and loved playing.  Ella worked for Ardmore Adventist Hospital until an injury forced her to retire.  She loved going to church and loved the Lord very much. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter, Kathy, brothers, Bob and Buddy; and her spouses, Sonny, Don and Robert. 

Ella is survived by her sons, David Crutcher of Ardmore, Jim Crutcher and wife Pat of Tucson, AZ, and Mike Rice and wife Susan of McKinney, TX; daughter, Lisa Rice of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Luke Crutcher of Denver, CO, Joshua Rice and wife Samantha of McKinney, TX, Jessica Cartwright and husband James of Spotsylvania, VA, Wesley Rice and fiancé Kira Cox of Stillwater, OK, Sean Crutcher of Tucson, AZ, and Victoria Crutcher of Ardmore, OK; great grandchildren, Anthony and Johnny Rice of McKinney, TX, Harleigh and John Cartwright of Spotsylvania, VA; cousin, and special friend, Georgia Mae Hammersley; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. 

Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.  Graveside inurnment services will be held at a later date.
