Wilson – Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ira (Fulton) Billingsley, 85, of Wilson is scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Royce McClendon officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Elizabeth was born June 6, 1925 at Wilson, OK to the late Mr. David Ira Fulton and Mrs. Grace May (Carlton) Fulton. She departed this life Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Ardmore.

Elizabeth was a resident of Wilson all of her life. She married the late Mr. R.C. “Bud” Billingsley in 1943 and they made their home in Wilson together. Elizabeth was a devoted homemaker, who always kept her home very neat, clean and tidy. She found comfort in staying at home and like to sew . She always purchased a new “Mercury Car” every few years and enjoyed going out to eat. Her husband, Bud, preceded her in death on December 18, 1975.

In addition to her husband Bud, also preceding her in death is her Parents, and Sister Ruth Parker and Brother, Clell Fulton.

Survivors include her Daughter, Fern Hacker and husband Bill of Guymon; 2 Sons, Rex Billingsley and wife Melba and Wendell Billingsley and wife Lisa , both of Wilson. 4 Grandchildren Bambi Love of Arkansas, Wendell Billingsley of Albuquerque, NM, Russell Billingsley of Ardmore and Ryan Billingsley of Austin, TX. 2 Great Grandchildren, Beau Taylor of Guymon and Purity Billingsley of Wilson. Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jim McLaughlin, Danny Arnold, Johnny Burkhalter, Terrell Tucker, Marty Everett and James McLaughlin.

Honorary Bearers will be Dan McDaniel and Sonny Firestone.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at the funeral home in Wilson.
