Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Moyers Thomason

Ringling- Funeral Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann “ Betty” Moyers Thomason , 68, of Ringling will be 3:00 P.M. Friday January 23, 2009 at the Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson with Chaplain Denise Balmer officiating. Burial will follow at Petersburg Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.

Betty was born February 22, 1940 in Bradford, Maine to William Thomas Theriault and Maria Sarah Brown. She departed this life Tuesday January 20, 2009 at her residence in Ringling.

Betty was born and raised in Bradford, Maine. She and Homer Lee Moyers II were united in marriage April 9, 1956 in Andover, Canada. From this union 3 children were born. In 1971 Betty moved to Ardmore. She found employment at the YWCA, later working for Falcon Communications in Gene Autry as a Lead Person. Betty and Farlin Thomason were married January 28, 1992 in Gainseville, TX. They moved to Ringling in 1993 where they made their home.

Betty dearly loved all of her family and cherished her time reading her Bible.

Preceding her in death is her Parents, Son, Danny Ray Moyers, 7 Brothers Kenneth Theriault, William Theriault, Victor Theriault, Ronald Theriault, Romeo JTheriault, Silvo Theriault and Leo Theriault, Sister, Mary Tilley.

Survivors include: Husband Farlin Thomason of the home. Daughter Barbara Jones and husband Marty of Lone Grove. Sons Donald Moyers and wife Debbie of Wilson, Robert Moyers and wife Kristi o Ardmore. Step-Sons, Dwayne Thomason of Ardmore Kelly Thomason of Ardmore, Steven Thomason and wife Ronna of Sulphur and Jeff Thomason and wife Stephanie of Ada. 2 Sisters Zelma Badger of Brownville Maine and Sophie Morneault of Woodland Maine. 2 Brothers Thomas Theriault and Freemand Theriault and wife Judy all of Woodland, Maine. Grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael. Jen, Jamie, Crystal, Ryan, Robert Jr., Kristin and Devin. Step-Grandchildren, Cariss, Jaden, Casey, Camryn and Savannah. Great-Grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bryce, Brazeden, Jaycee, Jayden and Josh.

Pallbearers will be Marty Jones, David Hardee, Crystal Taylor, Michael Winslow, Kristen Moyers, Steven Thomason and Devin Moyers.

Family visitation will be Thursday January 22 from 6-8 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
