Earl Wilson

August 23, 1943 — March 4, 2010

Wilson- Graveside Services for Mr. Earl Wilson, 66, of Lone Grove, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, March 8, 2010 at Keller Cemetery with Rev. Mike Williams officiating and Stanley Watkins providing the Eulogy with Military Honors performed by the Fort Sill Casualty Team. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Earl was born August 23, 1943 at Spur, TX to the late Mr. Henry Hannibal Wilson and Mrs. Lora Alton (Elkins) Wilson. He departed this life Thursday, March 4, 2010 at his home in Lone Grove.

Earl resided in Arizona before moving to the Dillard and Wilson area. He drove a truck for Pepsi Cola for 12 years, before working in the Oilfield. For the last several years he was employed for L& W Environmental , operating a Hot Oiler. When he wasn’t working in the Oilfield he enjoyed shooting pool, fishing and working on motorcycles.

Earl was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving in Vietnam as Special Forces. He entered the military March 16, 1962 at Phoenix, AZ and was honorably discharged April 15, 1964 at Fort Bragg, NC.

Preceding him in death are his Parents, infant son, Willie, Sisters, Jackie Mae and Brothers, Otha Don, Tom, Arthur, Robert, and Tasso Brown.

Survivors include companion, Katherine Wilson, of the home, Daughters, Lora Smith and husband Woody and Jackie Wilson all of Healdton, Sheila Wright and husband Richard of Lone Grove, Deanie Maxey and husband Tim of Mill Creek, and Samantha Davis of Healdton. Stepdaughter, Kristie London of Ardmore. 2 Step Sons, Eric London, of Arizona and Kenneth London of Healdton. 17 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and numerous family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Mark Gazaway, Bob Watkins, Sam Beaird, Gerald Don Bolin, Spanky Glenn and Doyal Williams.

Family visitation will be from 4 to 6pm Sunday at the Funeral Home Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
