Graveside services with Military Honors and Masonic Rites for Mr. E. R. "Randol" Keltner, 89 of Little City, OK are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Hewitt Cemetery with his daughter Rita McKnight speaking. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.
Randol was born on June 27, 1928 in Wilson, OK to the late Mr. Sylvester Goodwin "Chief" Keltner and Mrs. Alma (Bennett) Keltner. He departed from this life on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home in Little City, OK.
He was a Navy Veteran and served on the Valley Forge in 1946-1948 receiving an honorable discharge. He was a proud member of the Choctaw Tribe. He was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove First Baptist Church. Randol was also a member of the Whitesboro Masonic Lodge for over 60 years and a 32nd Degree Mason. Mr. Keltner was retired from AT&T.
Randol loved spending time with his family and his precious dog Juniper. He enjoyed telling stories from his experiences. He also enjoyed old western movies and country western music. Randol was always known for his funny dry sense of humor. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy M. (Witten) Keltner; parents; and his brothers, S.G. Keltner and Donnie Lynn Keltner.
Randol is survived by his daughter, Rita McKnight; grandson, Scott Hoppie; great grandson, Cody Hoppie all of Denton, TX; sister, Dixie Lou Keltner and several nieces and nephews.
