Wilson, OK – Funeral Services for Dr. Ronald Dean Alexander, II, 58, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, July 7, 2023 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating and Zane Gray providing the eulogy. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson.

Dr. Ronald Dean Alexander, II was born on May 19, 1965 at Dallas, TX to Mr. Ronald Dean Alexander, I and Mrs. Joy Linn (Wooldridge) Alexander. He left this world far too soon due to heart failure on the morning of June 29, 2023 at his home in Edmond, OK.

Raised in Wilson during his adolescent years, he was commonly known as Dee to his friends and family. He attended Wilson schools where he graduated high school in 1983. He attended college at East Central University where he was a member of the Epsilon Omega Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He transferred to the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology in 1991. Thereafter, he attended the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995.

Dee married his best friend and love of his life, Kristin Denise Hall on November 9, 1996 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Kansas City. They shared a love of corvettes and made their home in Fort Worth, TX where he trained as a radiology intern and resident. Dee added to his training with a one year Neuroradiology fellowship in San Antonio, TX.

Dee was happiest when spending time with his family. Being a father to two wonderful sons, Harrison and Jackson, was his most cherished role. He was so proud of their accomplishments. Evenings during the school year after watching his favorite tv show Jeopardy, he was always close by to help with their math and science homework. Weekends, you’d find him backyard grilling, floating in the pool with his beloved dog Banjo, or cheering on Sooner Football. Summers were spent camping and jet skiing with his sons on Eagle Mountain Lake or Lake Murray. Summers always came to a beautiful close with the annual family trip to Maine.

After 20+ professional years in Texas, Dee accepted a position at St. Anthony’s Hospital in downtown Oklahoma City with Oklahoma Radiology Group in January 2023. He moved his family to Edmond, OK where he looked forward to this next chapter of life; sadly cut far too short.

Preceding him in death was his father, Ronald Dean Alexander, I on May 1, 2021, his Uncle Bob Bennison, his paternal grandparents Robert and Blondell Alexander, and his maternal grandparents Harold Wooldridge and Irby Wooldridge Fitts.

Survivors include his wife Kristin of the home; sons Harrison Grey Alexander and Jackson Walker Alexander; mother Joy Linn Alexander; in-laws Duane and Kathy Hall; uncle Charles Alexander and Mike Fitts; aunts Cookie Hayes, Gail Bennison, Myra Alexander, and Lana Fitts; brother-in-law Derek Hall; and numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers will be Tommy Hayes, Greg Flanagan, Craig Barbour, David Sisco, Derek Hall, Jimmy Monkres, and Rob Alexander.

Honorary bearers are Charles Alexander, Mike Fitts, Scott McGuire, Pierce Monkres, Ken Barrett, Duane Hall, Wayland Alexander, James Tow, and the Wilson high school class of 1983.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home.
