Wilson – Funeral Services for Dorothy Louise Dodd, 88, of Wilson are scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday March 21, 2015 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Dennis George officiating. Private family interment will follow at Keller Cemetery north of Wilson.

Louise was born January 4, 1927 at the Keller Community to the late Mr. Arthur Byron Brown and Mrs. Minnie Pearl (VanNess) Brown. She departed this life Thursday March 19, 2015 at Denison, TX.

Louise was raised in this area graduating from Graham High School as Valedictorian. She Married Mr. Jim Dodd on August 4, 1945 at Wilson. They followed Jims work residing in the Oklahoma and Texas area. Louise was always a devoted homemaker and mother. She was always very active and loved people. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceding her were her Parents; brother Dalton Brown and a sister, Mary Bell Hickey-Brown.

Survivors include her loving husband Mr. Jim Dodd of the home in Denison, TX; Sons, Gary Dodd of the Phillipines and Terry Dodd and wife Gail of McKinney, TX; three grandchildren, Christi Dodd of Rockwall, TX, Jeff and Shawna Dodd of Montgomery, TX and Scott and Kellie Dodd of Belton, TX; seven great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
