Velma - Funeral Services for Mrs. Doris Marie (Scott) Chatham, 91 of Velma are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Velma First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at the New Velma Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Velma Chapel.

Doris Marie Chatham, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother left this life to be

with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2017. She was born on June 7, 1925, near Lebanon,

Oklahoma, to David Scott and Ollie McKenzie Scott.

She was preceded by her parents, one sister, three brothers, her husband Verdell Chatham, and two daughters Peggy Scifres and Carolyn Presgrove.

She is survived by her son Eddie Majors and his wife Peggy of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren were very special to her. They include Jackie Davis and his wife Kelly, Greg Majors and his wife Cheryl, Bill Wright and his wife Jana, Kim Hall, Shannah Ray, Rusty Wright, and Lacey Cowger and her husband Justin. She also is survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Other survivors include son-in-law Hank Presgrove, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her faithful caregiver Tammy Haragan.

Casket Bearers will the immediate members of the family.
