Doris D. Lorton

Healdton – No services are scheduled for Mrs. Doris D. Keaton Lorton, 88, of Healdton. She departed this life Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Healdton Nursing Home in Healdton, OK.

Doris was born September 24, 1922 at Kincaid, KS to the late Mr. Albert E. Smithson and Mrs. Hattie Jane (Aldridge) Smithson. She was raised at Bartlesville and continued to live and work there the majority of her life. She moved to Healdton in 2007 to be with her Granddaughter, Rita Cramer and family. She had a great love for children, animals and enjoyed the outdoors. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Preceding her in death is her Parents, Daughter, Sharon J. Trowbridge; 3 Granddaughters, Gina Trowbridge, Carla Keaton – Skiles, and Shannon Brown – Tanner; Daughter in law Linda Keaton.

Survivors include her Sons, Charles Keaton, Albert Keaton, both of Bartlesville, OK, John Keaton of Wynona and Carl Keaton of Claremore, OK; Daughter, Karen Brown of Ochelta, OK; 16 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. Numerous other family and friends.
