Graveside Services for Mr. Donald Frank Christie,70, Of Wilson are scheduled for 11:00 A.M.Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Mount Olive Cemetery of Healdton with Bro. Virgil Ridenour officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Donald was born October 22, 1942 in Jacksonville, TX. to Mr. David Crockett Christie and Mrs. Myrtie (Fletcher) Christie. He passed from this life July 21, 2013 at Healdton, Ok.

Donald was raised in Jacksonville, Texas attending school there.

He joined the United States Marine Corp July 10, 1962 and served as a Motor Vehicle Operator until he was honorably discharged on April 30, 1966.

Donald married Barbara White November 11, 1964 and they made their home in Ratliff City, Ok. in 2001.He enjoyed fishing, hunting, family time and church.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, David Christie and Myrtie Christie; Wife, Barbara Christie; Son, Doyal Christie and Grandson Jathan.

Survivors include his children, John Christie and wife Brandy of Elmore City, Diana ( Christie) Burkham and husband Johne of Kennedale, TX., Rufus Christie and wife Adrienne of Ratliff City, Brenda Murray and husband Russell of Wilson, Barbara Austin and husband Aaron of Wilson, JR. Christie and wife Debra of Franksten, TX. , Keith Christie of Oklahoma; Sisters, Madge of Gerorgia and Gelinda of Oklahoma; Brother Chester Christie of Wyoming; Grandchildren, Kelly, Katelynn, Sky, Star, Chris, Todd, Austin, Taylor, Jonathan, Jarrod, Taylen, Sadie, Emily, John, Howard and Marie; One Great Grandchild, Jesse; Numerous Nieces , Nephews, Family and Friends.

Pallbearers are Austin, Taylor, John, Rufus, Aaron and Aaron.

Honorary Bearers are Johne Burkham.and Bob Harbison.
