Deon & Jonene Rich

Wilson - Celebration of Life services for Deon and Jonene (Monk) Rich are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating and Brandon Gossvener assisting. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery.

Tressa "Jonene" Rich was born on May 6, 1961 at Purcell to Mr. John Monk and Mrs. Darlene (Swain) Monk. She departed this life on Sunday Jan. 17, 2021 at Ardmore.

Deon was born July 29, 1959 at Ryan to Reuben Leo Rich and Jamie (Hodges) Rich. He departed this life Tuesday Feb. 9, 2021 at Oklahoma City.

Deon was raised at Oscar and Grady, graduating high school from Wilson in 1977. He and Jonene was united in marriage on June 15, 1979 in Healdton. They made their home in this area. Jonene was primarily a homemaker and Deon worked primarily for oilfield supply companies.
Deon was a past fire chief for the Healdton Fire Dept and was a fireman for over twenty years. He and Jonene loved to do everything together, always loving one another immensely. They enjoyed farm pond fishing and just spending time with one another.

Preceding them in death, are Jonene's parents, John Monk and Darlene (Swain) Allen and Deon's father, Leo Rich.

Survivors include their daughter, Codi Robertson and husband Brandon of Ringling; Brandon Rich and wife Candace of Courtney; Jonene's brother, David McMillen and wife Kelli; Deon's siblings, Janie "Cookie" Snow and husband Hoss, Tina Cox, Candie Porterfield, Robbie Morse and husband Brent, Ricky Rich, Jody Rich and wife Leedale, and Allene Young; grandchildren, Rusti Robertson and Blair Robertson; numerous other family and friends.

Casket bearers Brandon Rich, Codi Robertson, Brandon Robertson, Ricky Rich, David McMillen and Jody Rich.

Honorary bearers are his brothers and sisters of the area fire departments.

Family visitation will be Monday evening February 15, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
