Dennis William Hamilton

Wilson- Memorial Services for Mr. Dennis "Rooster" William Hamilton, 45, of Wilson are scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday Dec. 4, 2021 at Alexander Gray Chapel of Wilson. Cremation services are under the care of Alexander Gray Crematory of Ringling.

Dennis was born on Sept. 23, 1976 at Ozark, AR to the late Mr. Ralph C. Hamilton and Mrs. Barbara Ann (Fox) Sheppard. He departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 at Ardmore.

Dennis or more commonly known to his friends as "Rooster" was raised primarily at Gene Autry attending school at Springer where he graduated from High School. Rooster worked as a truck driver all of his working years and was currently employed for A-1 Airfresh Co. of Lone Grove. He married the former Jana Wyatt on July 20, 2019 at Wilson, in their backyard. They have remained in Wilson, happily enjoying every day together. Rooster loved riding his motorcycle and being a member of the American Iron Riders. He was always very active in the club and he always enjoyed being outdoors.

Preceding him in death are his parents.

Survivors include his wife Jana Marie (Wyatt) Hamilton of the home in Wilson; children, Jamie Sheppard, Emma Hamilton, Kasper Hamilton, Jack Hamilton, Elizabeth Mutziger, LCpl Clayton Mutziger and Jonathan Mutziger; sisters, Jennifer Henry and Alice Hamilton; brothers, Billy Hamilton, Bobby Cummins and Curtis Fox; granddaughter, Gracelynn Rose Mutziger-Milsap; numerous other family and friends.

Honorary Bearers are the members of the American Iron Riders motorcycle club.
