Debra Jean Kennedy

LONE GROVE -- Memorial Services for Debra (Debbie) Jean (Wilson) Kennedy, 59, will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson and Pastor Artie Farve will officiate.

Born on January 6, 1962, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Melvin & Jettie Bench Wilson, she died on July 25 in Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Wanda Mason. She attended Lone Grove Public Schools and graduated in 1980. She married Daniel Kennedy on May 24, 1980, at Lone Grove First Baptist Church. She worked at TG&Y in Ardmore during high school. After graduation, she worked at Wal-Mart in Ardmore. She was a homemaker once their daughter was born. She loved her husband fiercely. She was a proud mom to Amy and loved her two grandsons. She was a member of Christ Community Church in Ardmore.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; Daughter Amy Kennedy and grandsons Davian and Aiden Williamson, Hartland, Vermont. Brother, Mark Wilson and wife, Kathy, Lone Grove. Sisters Annette Frame and husband, Jimmy, Lone Grove, Melba Ann Davis and husband, Gerald, Dallas, Hattie Eubank, Oklahoma City. Longtime friend, Teresa Brumley, Wilson.

Honorary Bearers: Harold Newman, Steve Robbins, Lester Robbins, Steven Kennedy, Mark Wilson, Jimmy Frame, Gerald Davis, Dee Jay Frame and Andy Wilson.
