Wilson - Funeral Services for Dawson Kade Gunter, 20, of Ardmore are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Mike Johnston and Rev. Steve Wall officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson.

Dawson was born on June 15, 1998 at Ardmore, the son of Trent and Tonya (Gray) Cooper. He departed this life on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his home in Ardmore.

Dawson was raised at Lone Grove and Ardmore. He attended Vo- Tech where he received his Auto Body Tech Certification. He loved to paint and work on cars. When Dawson was younger, he loved to spend time in the woods deer hunting. He always loved staying with his Papa Richard and being with his friends.

Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Julie Gray; uncle, Jason Tadlock and a grandfather, Ted Cooper.

Survivors include his Parents, Trent and Tonya Cooper of the home in Ardmore; sister, Tori Cooper of the home; brothers, Devon Gunter of Calera and Trenton Cooper of the home; great grandparents, Barbara Walker and husband Gene of Lone Grove and Mona Williams of Ardmore; grandparents, Cathey McCutchen of Lone Grove, Richard Gray of Wilson, Carolyn Cooper of Ardmore and Charles and Marie Gunter of Ardmore; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Devon Gunter, Blade Gray, Kelby Gray, Colby Leflore, Jackson Cooper and Damian Pierce.

Honorary Bearers are Trenton Cooper and Randy Tadlock

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
