Davis "David" Ray Skelton

Wilson - Funeral services for Davis Ray "David" Skelton, Jr. 47, of Wilson will be held 2:00 PM Wed. Sept. 6, 2017 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Jason Williams and Bro. Brian Baker officiating. Resting place will be at Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson.

David passed away on Friday evening September 1, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born to Dave and Rosie Skelton on Sept. 30, 1969 in Oklahoma City.

David resided in Wilson his entire life. He graduated from Wilson High School and remained there where he was very well known. David loved to ride motorcycles and was always a very hard worker. He worked various jobs including mowing lawns and mechanic work. He always enjoyed visiting with his friends and cherished moments with his family.

Preceding him in death is his sister, Michelle Rae Skelton, who welcomed him in heaven.

Survivors include his parents, Dave and Rosie Skelton of Wilson; sister, Nita Skelton of Wilson; brother, Michael Paul Skelton of Wilson; nephews, Tanner Skelton, Dillon Skelton and Kody Helms; niece, Stormi Helms; great nephews and nieces , Toki Helms, Levisty Grice, Bia Force and Hannah Skelton; Uncle, Don and wife Georgeann of Billings, Montana; special family, Keri Skelton, Cheyenne Skelton Nipp, Auntie "M" Baker and Darrell Helms.

Casket Bearers are Tanner Skelton, Stormi Helms, Michael Skelton, Dillon Skelton, Donnie Nipp, Daniel Whitener and Donald Williams.

Honorary Bearers are Fred Murfin, Richard Roundtree (of China, TX), Garland Morgan, Ruben Garcia and Les Thoroughman.

Family visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
