Davin Blayne Mercer

Ringling – A Celebration of life of Davin Blayne Mercer, 10 of Ringling is scheduled for 1:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Ringling with Bro. Lafon Glenn and Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Alex Costea officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Davin Blayne Mercer was born August 11, 2002 at Ardmore, OK. He departed this life Wed. March 27, 2013 at Ardmore.

Davin was full of joy and happiness. He glowed with love for his family and others. His favorite thing to do was to watch cartoons on his DVD player. Davin had a wonderful boyish personality and he would always laugh when his siblings got into trouble. He communicated well with everyone around him and was the anchor of his family. The daily calls he received meant so much to him especially from his Gran Gran when she would sing to him. He loved his Nana, Granny and Gran Gran very very much and he certainly touched all of his family with his love, happiness and strength.

Those who preceded him in death are his Grandfather, Johnny Mercer; Great Grandfathers, J.L. Hacker, Bobby Morrison, Bill Hammontree, Lloyd Thompson and Virgil Mercer ;Great Grandmothers, Tiny Thompson , Jeanie Morrison and Maurine Mercer.

Survivors include his loving Parents, Jamie and Misty (Hacker) Mercer of the home; Siblings, Macey Glenn and husband Josh of Ringling, Sydney Mercer, Marina Mercer, both of Pryor, Zoe Mercer and Johnny Joe Mercer both of the home; Niece Aleeyah Glenn; Grandparents, D.J. and Sharon Nell of Ringling, Randy and Shelly Hacker of Wilson; Great Grandparents, Virginia Hammontree and Virginia Hacker both of Wilson; Numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Kelly Perkins, Dusty Hacker, Shane Cox, Joe Stoker, Kolt Perkins and Halston Cox.

Honorary Bearer is Danya Miller.

Family visitation from 6-8 pm Friday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
