David Allen Daniel

Graveside Inurnment services for Mr. David Allen Daniel is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Hewitt Cemetery with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.


Mr. David Allen Daniel was born September 28, 1959 to the late Arie Noble Daniel, II and Mrs. Lula Mae (Hartsell) Daniel in Davis, OK. He departed from this life on February 19, 2017 in Tulsa, OK.


David was raised in the Oklahoma City area attending school in Bethany and graduating from Putnum City West High School. He attended UCO completing 2 years while working for Southwestern Bell and Humpty Super Market. David was promoted to Assistant Manager with Humpty Super Market, meeting Leo Eiserman in 1984. After Humpty Super Market closed in 1984, they both worked for music distribution companies. David and Leo moved to Edmond buying their first lake property in 2002.


Preceding him in death are his parents.


David is survived by his life partner, Leo of the home; brother, Danny Daniel of Checotah; uncles, D.C. Daniel of Gainesville and Bardo Daniel of Marlow; step mother, Dorothy Daniel of Checotah; special old friend, Carol Shelling and family of Bixby; and numerous cousins in Wilson, Plano and Gainesville.
