This precious baby boy was born with black hair, sparkling blue eyes and Down Syndrome. He departed peacefully from this life on September 28, 2021 surrounded by those that love him in San Antonio, TX.

Darrell spent most of his childhood and fondest moments in Countyline and Velma. His childhood home was painted white and Darrell always referred to it as the "Whitehouse". Everyone in the community loved him like family and he loved them the same. Darrell was proud of his Native American Indian Heritage and spoke often of him being a proud Choctaw with a sparkle in his eyes and radiance in his face.
When the family moved to Pearsall, TX, Darrell was excited once he learned that George Strait's dad, John got his hair cut at the same Barbershop several times a month. He loved George Strait, Elvis, WWE, and Joe Diffie. But, most of all he loved his family and holidays that all the kids that got to come to his Mom's house. Darrell was all about Love and taught his family often what love was about. He loved church and he loved Jesus. Darrell was a true child of God.
Darrell participated and was an excellent athlete in the Oklahoma Special Olympics. He would smile from ear to ear when he would get a ribbon of any color that he won. His family loved him unconditionally and taught them many things that the family will never forget. Darrell was an awesome son, brother and uncle who gave them a view of the world that most people don't see. They thank God for sending them that early Christmas present and celebrate his life and thankful for the promise that Darrell is now in Heaven with Mom and Dad.
